PSC were jointly instructed by two local contractors to object against two applications for a new pharmacy within a proposed new health centre that is due to be constructed during the course of this year.

If either one of the applications had been approved both of our client’s pharmacies would have been adversely affected by the opening of a new pharmacy.

We prepared a robust case against the applications (as did several other local contractors) and after several months were notified that the two applications would be considered and decided via an oral hearing.

The hearing took place just before Christmas and we, along with other objecting parties, gave extensive verbal evidence against both applications and were ultimately successful as both applications were subsequently refused.
