We engaged PSC to represent us in the appeal against our application to move premises in Worthing. The Application was granted by NHS England. However, it was decided by the Appeals Authority than an oral hearing was required to decide the matter. We won the Oral hearing of the Appeals Panel against top quality representation for the Appellant and this was, in large part, due to the representation we received from PSC. Kevin Harrall, in discussions with us, had prepared our case with the utmost care, knowledge and imagination. He then delivered our case with clarity and in a wholly convincing manner. He answered all the Panel’s questions calmly and fully and was robust in defence of our case against questions, principally, from the Appellant, but also from other interested parties. He knew when to say something and even more importantly, when not to. It is tempting, when faced with an oral hearing, to think that one can represent oneself. I mean, how difficult can it be? Well the answer is that it is very easy to say the wrong thing at the wrong time, or to talk too much and irritate the panel. It is worth every penny to be professionally represented by someone who understands how to make a case and who also understands how best to deliver that case to the Panel in a calm and confident manner. In fact if I were to ever want to move again, I would engage PSC to make the initial application, so as to render the grounds for any possible future hearing unnecessary. I would recommend PSC, unreservedly
